“In my lifetime, art is my lifeline”- See One

 Have you even known what you would do for the rest of your life by the time you were 10? Throughout life, the above phrase has made itself evident at every turn. Art, and creating in general, is See One’s main artery to this thing called life.

 Artist, See One was born on October 19, 1980, in Queens, NY. An only child of a runway model/fashion designer mom, he was already immersed in the creative world by the time he was 2 years old. Watching his mom make and design clothing became a natural occurrence in his home and soaking up that creative energy at a young age began to take its affects. Growing up, he would draw for hours and hours on end, fueled by a great curious imagination, cartoons, comic books and New York graffiti of the 80’s. Art became and still is his greatest love affair and obsession.

See One, is a self taught artist. Outside of high school, he has not had the means of going to college for his creative aspirations and as such, he has had to rely on his confidence and self-determination to make something his creative gifts. His ever growing creativity and competitive nature to out do himself on every project has sharpened his vision and allowed him to pick up and implement techniques quickly and add it to his growing arsenal of acrylics, watercolor, spray paint, markers, and pen and ink. Never one to take “No” for an answer, or sit back and wait for something to happen, See One has trained himself in traditional and digital techniques of art and continues to search for knowledge.

 Today, See One is a professional illustrator, fashion designer and graphic artist in New York’s fashion industry. utilizing his creativity everyday to make his mark in this world.
