Miru is a small blue dragon that See One created about 10 years ago, right before creating his abstract style, Shards. Unlike Shards, Miru is a simple round character that See One has adorned onto walls through murals and graffiti, paintings, illustration, video and comic books.
Throughout the years See One has created both Miru and Shards artwork simultaneously and had merged the two art styles together at times. Miru represents the playful, mischievous side of See One and remains as an icon See One is known for, along with his abstract Shards style.
In addition to painting, See One is an accomplished illustrator and in 2012 See One began a life long goal to produce a comic book now that he had a character to he loved to draw.
See One began posting weekly web comic panels to Instagram which led to him meeting his writer and friend, Rick Laprade and colorist, Eleonora Dalla Rosa. Together they created The Adventures of Miru, they submitted the series to many publishers and eventually landed a deal with Action Lab Comics to produce a 5 issue min series that was sold and distributed throughout every major comic book shop in the world.
The Adventures of Miru, published by Action Lab Comics debuted globally in 2016 and the title was quickly sold out, this is the first time a graffiti writer had taken his original character off the wall and into mainstream media.
